The recommendation and use of products intended for cleaning wood or nonporous and other materials is the number one issue facing the entire composite industry and unsuspecting composite owners that follow these recommendations. This is especially true when these products contain sodium hypochlorite, the active biocide in chlorine  bleach. When a product containing sodium hypochlorite is used to clean mold, it is  generally used against the manufacturere's label directions. This includes products to be dangerously mixed with chlorine bleach and common deck cleaners recommended and used for cleaning mold. It generally takes two (2) repeat applications of Corte-Clean® at maximum strength to clean composite stains. Enough product is provided in each Corte-Clean® container to do two (2) repeat applications. The smaller container or bag of Corte-Clean® cleans approximately 300 square feet of composite at maximum strength and the larger container cleans approximately 600 square feet. If the composite intended to be cleaned has been neglected or previously cleaned with unproven products, additional Corte-Clean® applications may be necessary. Be pro-active and routinely Corte-Clean® your composite at least twice (2X) per year, spring and fall or whenever stains appear, especially if they are caused by mold!

Corte-Clean® ONLY FAILS when our customers DO NOT read and following its label directions/instructions or do not have enough Corte-Clean® to clean the intended square footage.
